Brazil, the fifth largest country in the world, is the largest country in South America and the only Portuguese speaking country in the Americas. This massive country has a coastline of 4,655 mi (7,491 km) long. Brazil is recognized as having the largest biodiversity in the world, with the Amazon Rainforest, Atlantic Forest, the Cerrado, and the Araucaria pine forest. Brazilian music and culture is mainly derived from Portuguese culture, as well as contributions from Italians, Germans, and Africans who migrated to Brazil.
