The College of Business Administration (CBA) students have the opportunity to participate in an exchange program with the University of Canberra in Australia. The exchange program allows students to receive credit for business courses at a university where academic standards are high and courses are designed to achieve career results. The mission of School of Management at the University of Canberra is to apply a balanced approach to the preparation of its graduates – in academic preparation and in teaching them how to be responsible and ethical leaders. The University of Canberra has approximately 12,000 students from throughout Australia and from 90 other countries around the world. 1600 students live on the University’s 296-acre campus.
The area has mild winters and warm summers, with average temperatures of 27°C (81°F) in summer and 12.1°C (54°F) in winter. The University of Canberra is situated in Australia’s capital city, home of its Commonwealth Government, situated between the country’s two largest cities, Sydney and Melbourne. Canberra, known to locals as ‘the 20 minute city’ because nothing is very far away, is home to a population approaching 350,000.
