Italian Language Internship
Fall 2016 - Cancelled
Accepting Applications for Spring 2017 - Only
Spring Dates: 01/06/17 - 06/15/17
The Italian Program at UCF is proud to sponsor a program of Teacher Training and Intercultural experience in the secondary schools of the Piedmont Region in Italy. Applications are accepted by students whose native language is English and are pursuing a minor in Italian. Students must have completed at least 12 credits of coursework in the UCF Italian program.
The program is an internship that offers students and recent graduates (within the previous 18 months) the possibility to improve their level of knowledge of Italy and Italian and the quality of their teacher training as English language assistants in one of the high schools of the Piedmont region. The program varies in duration, from 300 to 500 hours, that is roughly one or two semesters. It is an unpaid internship, but each intern will receive housing in lieu of a stipend. Interns may also take classes at partnering local Italian universities.
Please note that program dates will vary.
