Salzburg Internship
Program Description:
The UCF Political Science Department has designed a study abroad internship program to complement our comparative politics and international relations focused majors.

This summer program, hosted by Salzburg College, offers an introduction to various aspects of Austrian and European politics as well as an internship placement.   International internships foster global competency and give you an edge in today’s highly competitive workforce.  Internships take place immediately following Summer Session I, after students have taken a German language course, “Understanding Austria”, and “The Austrian Workplace” as preparation.  The internship placements vary depending on your academic and professional focus.  Salzburg College works at length with you to determine a placement that meets your needs and expectations.

Program Courses:
  • Understanding Austria (CPO 3955)
  • German Language (GER 1120C or GER 1121C or GER 2200 or GER 2201) per Modern Languages approval
  • The Austrian Workplace (POS 3955)
*Please note that all participants must enroll in all three of these courses (9 credits) and pay associated tuition to be a part of the program.
