UCF College of Business Administration has partnered with the Management Center Innsbruck (MCI) in Austria to allow students to study business in an international setting. MCI’s exchange program is designed for English-speaking students from all over the world who are committed to their academic success. MCI links together the best out of science, economy and consulting to the unique concept of an international Entrepreneurial School® With 3000 students, 1000 teachers, 200 partner universities, and some 7000 graduates and employers worldwide, and an unbroken record of top places in polls and rankings, the Entrepreneurial School® is in demand as an international benchmark and partner for research, teaching and management training. In 2016 Management Center Innsbruck earned initial accreditation by AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). MCI is one of the first Austrian universities to be granted this prestigious distinction for five years.
Innsbruck is located in the heart of Europe, with an excellent opportunity to travel to other cities that are a few hours away by train, such as Munich, Milan, Venice, Prague, Vienna and Zurich. The city is surrounded by high mountains that present a breathtaking panorama that contrasts with its historic old town. The city has over 800 years of history that are imprinted on its gothic walkways. It is known worldwide as the site for the Winter Olympics in 1964 and 1976. Presently, it is a regional center for business, as well as sports and tourism, with a population of around 130,000.
MCI offers a variety of business courses taught entirely in English, which are perfect for International Business Minors.
- UCF GPA: 2.75
- Must be a pre-business or business major
- Must be in good standing (academic, conduct and financial) with UCF
- Must be registered full-time while participating in the exchange
- Must have at least one semester left to graduate, upon returning from your semester abroad
Applications are approved on a rolling basis. When placement capacity is reached, the website will show 'Full' and applications will no longer be accepted. Students may be placed on the waitlist.
