Partner Programs

Study abroad providers are third-party organizations that administer education abroad programs, and can often be referred to by different names: provider programs, partner programs, affiliate programs, etc. These providers offer study abroad programs that “fill the gap” in the programming we have available at UCF and are open to students all over the USA. They can provide additional support throughout the application process and offer on-site services and activities that help students make the transition to their new country and culture.

Typically, program fees will include advising/application services; accommodation; tuition; transcripts; some cultural activities and events; airport pickup; onsite resident director staff service; transcripts, and more!

Providers differ from other UCF programs in several ways:
  • Dual application process
You must apply through UCF Abroad and the partner program
  • Course Evaluation/Approval Process (Transient credit)
You must review the course options from your host university, then have the courses evaluated for use towards your UCF degree requirements. See pages 7-8 in the slideshow below for further information.
  • Financial Aid
You should meet the Office of Student Financial Assistance after selecting your program and prior to paying any deposits to the partner provider. You can schedule an appointment by emailing SFAstudyabroad@ucf.edu. Financial Aid varies depending on the program type that you choose.
***Partner programs are not eligible to receive Bright Futures, or UCF-based scholarships***

Advising for partner programs is based on your program location:
Europe: Please email Oliver.McSurley@ucf.edu
Asia, the South Pacific (Aus and NZ), Africa & the Middle East: Please email James.Ehmer@ucf.edu or schedule via MyKnightStar
Latin America: Please email Adrienne.Theune@ucf.edu or schedule via MyKnightStar

You can learn more about our approved partners below by browsing their websites. You can navigate to these using the links below or via the "homepage - click to visit" link on the UCF Abroad: Programs - Apply Here brochure pages.
If you are interested in applying, please be sure to connect with your assigned UCF Abroad advisor for a specific program before applying on the partner website, and refer to the resources below on how to get an application started with UCF Abroad.
