Program Description:

UCF Abroad collaborates with the Office of Experiential Learning and Partner Providers to customize internship placements abroad. Students from all majors can earn UCF credits and connect what you learned in the classroom with relevant hands-on experience.

 

How does the internship process work?


General Timeline
  1. Reach out to Adrienne Theune at adrienne.theune@ucf.edu to learn about internship opportunities abroad. 
  2. Research your placement options
  3. Revise your Resume 
  4. Apply to your selected program on UCF Abroad's website AND our partners
  5. Arrange your internship for UCF Credits with Experiential Learning (if applicable)
  6. Begin the placement process
    • Interview with the international company online
    • Finalize your schedule with the partner and receive a formal position description
    • Submit your position to Experiential Learning and enroll for UCF credits (if applicable) 
  7. Participate in pre-departure arrangements with UCF Abroad and your partner 

 


Minimum Requirements: Must be in good standing (academic, conduct and financial) with UCF. 

UCF Administration Fee: $350 (charged to your student account)

All students pay the program provider directly for the entire program cost. Students will responsible for applying for the program and making all logistical arrangements on their own.
