Bremen Program Description:

The UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science student exchange at Hochschule Bremen, City University of Applied Sciences, offers internship and academic programs designed to expose UCF students to professional and academic practices outside of the US. In addition, participants in this exchange will develop skills to adapt to a different academic and geographical environment.

Young, cosmopolitan, inspiring – located in the heart of Bremen, HSB attracts almost 9,000 students not only from the region and nationwide, but worldwide, amongst them more than 300 exchange students from partner universities per year.


The largest university of applied sciences in the smallest German federal state of Bremen is rich in tradition while also being innovative. With the inception of the University dating back to the year 1799, today, the Bremen University of Applied Sciences is committed to innovation and internationalization.

Application Process:

You can apply online for this program. The application includes the submittal of a brief essay (200 words) that clearly describes your academic and personal goals, as well as how this program would further them. We recommend you work on your essay outside the application environment and then paste it on the appropriate field.


Selected participants must meet with their Academic Advisor to discuss and register for the appropriate coursework. Coursework completed through the program may count as equivalent UCF course credit and/or as restricted or general elective credit.
