This versatile program, with courses that incorporate a wide variety of subjects from psychology to art and sociology to media studies, allows students to develop foundational competence on contemporary global issues. CEA students take the same classes as degree-seeking Czech and other European students at AAU, creating a truly integrated experience not available elsewhere in Prague study abroad. Many courses incorporate an active learning style that takes you out of the classroom and into the city, lending real-world context to lessons learned in class. With more than 100 courses available, all taught in English, across AAU's five schools—Business Administration, Humanities & Social Sciences, Journalism, International Relations & Diplomacy, and Law—you’ll find diverse course options to meet your academic interests.
Our partner, Anglo-American University (AAU), is Prague’s oldest private university. With a strong focus on international students, AAU offers more than 100 courses across its five schools. Courses are taught in English; you’ll attend class alongside local Czech and other international students from more than 50 countries. AAU’s stunning campus is located in the 17th century Thurn-Taxis Palace in the central Mala Strana neighborhood, adjacent to the CEA Prague Office and within walking distance of the Charles Bridge and other notable historic sites. Students will receive a transcript from the Anglo-American University upon completion of their program.
