Program Description:

Program Description:

The UCF College of Business has partnered with McDaniel College Budapest to provide UCF business students with opportunities to study abroad in Budapest, Hungary. This program aims to deepen the students’ understanding of economic and business topics through an innovative academic program in Central Europe.

All courses are conducted by McDaniel College Budapest, which is a fully accredited American college located in the heart of Europe.

Program Structure and Assessment:
Students will enroll in business courses from the list of courses offered each semester and receive transfer credit.  Students will also have an opportunity to take a Hungarian Language and Culture class.

All courses must be pre-approved by the College of Business. You should meet with Holly Bouma, the Associate Director of International Programs at the College of Business, to discuss course options and UCF credit:


Housing is offered in apartments in Budapest. McDaniel College Budapest also provides the following services in the program fee: tuition, local support staff, guided study trips, and activities. Costs not included are airfare, meals, personal expenses, and any home university fees.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               
Eligibility and Requirements:

The COBA study abroad programs are competitive and space is limited. To be considered, students must:
  • Be a declared pre-business or business major
  • Have attended UCF for at least one full semester prior to the beginning of the term abroad
  • UCF GPA: 2.75


UCF Administration Fee: $350 (charged to your student account)
