The exchange program with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University in Australia provides an opportunity for UCF math students to learn and experience another culture while gaining progress toward graduation. As a global university of technology and design, RMIT has a reputation for excellence in work-relevant education and high quality research. The courses at RMIT are constantly updated to meet the changing needs of business and the broader community, and to provide students with specialized content relevant to professional and personal success in a rapidly changing world. RMIT University has a current enrollment of over 82,000 students.
RMIT University is located in Melbourne, which is the capitol city of Victoria and the second most populous city in Australia. Melbourne is rated highly in the areas of education, entertainment, healthcare, research and development, tourism and sports.
Minimum Requirements:UCF GPA: 3.0 cumulative
Must be in good standing (academic, conduct and financial) with UCF
Must be registered full time while participating in the exchange
Must be a junior or senior at the time of exchange
Must have at least one semester left to graduate, upon returning from your semester abroad.

You can apply online for this program. The application includes the submittal of a brief essay (500 words) that clearly describes your academic and personal goals, as well as how this program would further them. We recommend you work on your essay outside the application environment and then paste it on the appropriate field.
Selected participants must meet with the Program Contact to discuss and register for the appropriate coursework. Coursework completed through the program may count as equivalent UCF course credit and/or as restricted or general elective credit.
All applications will be reviewed by the Math Department and selected applicants will be notified of how to follow up. Assessment of the applications will be based on the academic qualifications of the applicant, as well as fit with the courses that the applicant has taken.
