Salzburg College Communication Internship
Dates: May 26 - August 15, 2020
As a supplement to its global communications curriculum, the Nicholson School of Communication has designed a study abroad internship program for students interested in global communication at UCF.
Immerse yourself even more in the Austrian culture! International internships foster global competency and give you an edge in today’s highly competitive workforce. The Summer Internship Program, hosted by Salzburg College, is both an academic and applied learning program. Students complete two courses during Summer Sessions I & II at Salzburg College, followed by six weeks of immersion in the their full-time internship. Students are required to take one German language course, the course "The European Experience," as well participate in special internship placement preparation meetings. Prior German language knowledge is not required. Salzburg College works closely with qualified students before their arrival and during their first weeks in Salzburg to select an internship placement that best fits each individual student's personal, language, and academic needs.
The internship placements vary depending on your academic and professional focus. Summer internship students are expected to enroll in two academic courses as well as the internship for a total of 9 US credit hours.
*Please note that coursework will be recorded on a Seminole State transcript and will count as transfer credit here at UCF*
